![]() ![]() 1) George "Babe" Ruth Mini Bat. Measures roughly 16 inches. The knob at the handle is notched. The center marking reads as follows: Louisville Slugger 40 Hillerich & Bradsby Co Made In USA Louisville KY Reg US Pat Off There are no other marking on the bat. The bat shows aging and is partially faded. Does anyone know if this is an authentic 1920s mini bat? Any idea on its value? 2) Joe Dimaggio Model, Leader Bat. Measures 34-1/2 inches. The Ruth mini bat likely dates to the 1950's or later with the Reg US Pat Off below the logo. Value is minimal because the condition isn't strong.
Your Dimaggio bat was issued during the 40's or 50's. Block letter bats are not highly desirable, but yours would probably retail around $40. Thanks for posting, Matt |
