1956 Topps Cardinals Team Card

I am no expert on this set but has anyone else noticed the stray blue ink on the borders of these cards? Or has it just been my misfortune to always find one where the blue ink ran. ANy ideas as to why this happened?

Hi Jim, Leave it to you to have one without it.
I actually did a quick check of current listings on Ebay as well as the ones that had ended recently. I saw one ungraded without it and a couple 9's and 8's without it out of about 18 listings. Interestingly enough, I saw a couple 7's with it and an 8 with it. None of the 9's had it. For those that don't know what I am talking about, here is a scan. Notice the blue streak on the white border. I am wondering why so many have it. From my somewhat limited experience with this set, it seems like about 80% have the blue streak. Could it have been a damaged printing plate? Also while we are on the subject, anyone know why the Cardinals and Redskins cards were short printed?
