Default Any interest in low-grade '33 and '34 World Wide Gum?

Posted By: Geoff Litwack

I have a bunch of extra cards, most of which have varying degrees of paper loss on the back and thought I'd test the waters here before I went to the trouble of scanning and listing them on eBay. EDITED TO ADD: I've sold some, so here are the remaining numbers:

1933: 10, 12, 16, 21, 28, 33, 34, 37, 38, 39, 43, 46, 75, 76, 77, 78, 82, 86, 91, 94.

1934: 3, 5, 6, 8, 14, 21, 26, 27, 31, 32, 36, 37, 38, 40, 51, 72, 73, 79, 81, 84 (Appling), 87, 89, 90.

Commons are $6, $5 in quantity; the Appling is $22.

I'm very interested as I'm working on both back variation sets. I've finished the basic set with mixed backs and am 3/5 of the way on the English only set and about 2/3 on the Fr/Eng backs. I'm getting a lot of about 30 in, in a couple of weeks and would like to know what numbers you have.

Weren't you looking for a Pepper Martin in that set?

John

John: Pepper Martin was my last card - I'm pretty sure he's tough! Let me know if you want to know about any of the backs in particular.

Here are the back variation #s I need, as best I can determine (have large lot coming with extra damaged cards).

English only: 1,2,3,7,8,11,13,15,17,24,25,27,32,35,36,43,45,50,5 4,57,62,63,65,66,67,69,70,73,76,77,78,79,80,81,84, 86 90 91 92 93 94

French/English:
5,12,18,19,20,22,23,29,31,33,38,44,48,49,52,55,58, 60,64,68,74,82,83,85,89

I have completed the 34 WWG set except for Ruth and Gehrig.

If you are interested, I have about 30 or so 34 WWG doubles and 15 or so 33's (at leasdt until the large lot comes in.

John
