Default Who Thinks This Super Bowl Ring Is Authentic?

I received the email below. Is he trying to rip me off? Or could he possibly think the championship ring below is authentic?

The email contained the three pictures shown above (the top row)

He asks - would I be interested in purchasing the ring?

Next, he wonders how he can authenticate the ring to see if it's real.

He coyly adds that the ring, with "Irvin" on the side of the championship ring, is assumed by my new pal, to be Michael Irvin's ring.

I wonder if he thinks I'm seeing dollar signs (and worse, I hope he's not gullible enough to believe he now owns Michael Irvin's 1992 Super Bowl ring).

There are people who authenticated championship rings.

They charge a lot of money for this service. I wonder if he would be dumb enough to spend real money to have his championship ring authenticated?

He closes the correspondence by nicely thanking me for my time and he looked forward to my response.

As you can imagine, I gave him my response (and didn't even charge him!)

Below the top row of his Super Bowl ring pictures is a second row - containing a real 1992 Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl ring.

When you compare the two sets of championship ring pictures, do you think the Michael Irvin Super Bowl ring show above is real?

Let me know your thoughts!
