I've used a blow-dryer / hair dryer - you heat it and the tape can then be peeled off. But again it leaves residue, don't believe there is any way around that.

There may be a YouTube video on it or a thread on the card side I'm sure that may tell more.

If you see a cheap one on Ebay - a ticket taped inside an old scorecard, buy it and practice.
