You’re right Sportscardsplus auctioned a PSA 3 plank 5yrs ago that looked amazing and it was a 150 series. I wish I had won the lot. In fact the PSA 3 Plank above is one you offered at one time. I had noticed that many 350 series Planks look rough compared to 150’s.

So is it a possibility that the plate did in fact break? Could a worn down plate cause bad printing and out of focus cards? Are we looking at a visual record of the decline of a printing plate? Could this be the reason there are so few Planks?
