I just returned from the A/C National and here are some of my football pickups. I really wanted to snag one hit to my 1935 National Chicle set but ended up with four hits and one duplicate I found in a $20 bargain box. I added #1 Dutch Clark with the top border chewed off still cost me $50 and also added #11 and two hi numbers #26 and #31 card #6 is the duplicate. Now just 5 cards left! Also 1952 Wheaties Tom Fears In Action pose needed one but somehow screwed up and bought two lol! 1960 Topps insert Green Bay Packers finished my set. Two 1952 Bowman Large wrappers were reduced to $40 each I got these two for $30. 1969 Topps mini-albums have all the four in one stamps included they were $1 each. I bought a matchbook with a football player on it too.
Second photo shows two 1965 Philadelphia rack pack headers bought from Kevin Savage were $15 each. Then I ran into a group of 1972 Topps hi numbers in a $20 bargain box. I asked the dealer if he would take $10 each if I bought them all, and he agreed so I bought all 25 of them!
