Day 143 (May 22, 2020 – 143)
I like going through The Sporting News back in the day and reading some of the articles. One of my favorite things to find in them was the large ads and hopefully there’s one with Brooks or some of the other Oriole player pictured. While I wont usually feature an ad in the thread this is a large ad for the 1973 Rawlings Gold Glove winners. Of the nine American League winners you have four Orioles that won the award; there’s Bobby Grich, Mark Belanger, Paul Blair and Brooks Robinson.
