Here's a couple more, Paul Calvert and Clay Hopper. I misspelled one name in my baseball list above. It should read Roy Partlow (not Portlow). He came to the Royals from the Hometown Grays and Philadelphia Stars at the same time Jackie Robinson arrived from the Kansas City Monarchs. In the 1946 Championship team photos above, Partlow is at the far left and Robinson at the far right.
I'm still looking for complete copies of Parade Sportive publications entitled,
PHOTOS / "CANADIENS" 1945-46 (the original edition, not the "2e Edition") and any volume of
La Revue de la PARADE SPORTIVE. Looking to buy, but scans will get me through for the moment.
