that is a total of 11%. And I now know that KickItBack does work, I transferred just over $12 from them to my Paypal account.
I guess eBay looks at a person's past and recent buying, and has a plan on which incentive would best provoke that person into bidding up an item. Obvious, but sometimes forgotten, is that eBay makes money when you bid, not only if you win. So they're just after more bids to raise that winning price.
