Someone could easily stir up a hornets here by saying "if someone soaked the card, they could clean up the back so the erasure isn't noticed", but that would only incite a board riot.

Look at the flip side of this, at least the item description doesn't indicate "1911 T205 Gold Border Set-Break Dick Hoblitzell Cycle VG-VGEX (crease) - NO STATS"

Edited to add - but I get the point, a disclosure of the card being altered to remove the stats should probably be provided. Kind of like the "nodgrass" T206 being sold in a PSA holder that indicates it's a Snodgrass card but should probably be in an ALTERED holder because the "S" was erased.
