Most of us remember the Starting LineUp figures that came out in 1988. They lasted until around 2001 and we probably have some in our collections. You may not be familiar with the Starting LineUp electronic baseball game, that also debuted in 1988. It was fairly expensive at the time and only lasted one year. The game did include baseball cards.

While I didn't pickup the game, I did add the two Orioles team sets to my collection.
The original game came with American & National League All-Stars cards. Here's the three All-Star Orioles.

You could purchase additional game cartridges of the other 1988 teams. The Orioles cartridge included the Yankees & Red Sox. I did buy the cartridge for the cards. Different cards were packaged with the cartridges.
