here's my story regarding the
uzit schaefer card.
Cooperstown...... Circa 1987:
I set-up at the (2-day) hof weekend show at the vfw bldg. It was always a really great show. At 7 pm (saturday nite) don & bill (show promoters) ran an auction.
I had just begun enhancing my t206 collection, by acquiring rare backs. This uzit card was in the auction. When it was time to bid for it, i instantly raised my hand.
There was a pause, i looked around and there were no other bids on it. I won it (or should i say....."i stole it").
does anyone here would like to guess what i paid for it ?

incidentally, the next lot in this same auction was this chance and i won it, too.....
