Pictured here are the 6 toughest backs that were printed on the Exclusive 12 cards
Depicted on some T206's are action poses which appear to be some what puzzling. For example, one of my favorite T206's, John McGraw (with glove). John's playing career
as a player-Manager ended in 1906. This 460-Series card of him was printed and issued in late 1910 >> early 1911 (depending which Tobacco advertisement is on its back).
It's kind of strange that he is portrayed with a glove, since he had not been a player for 4 years. Any thoughts why ? Actually, I do have a theory why.
This McGraw card is a member of the
Exclusive 12 group. It was printed with 13 different backs. His
UZIT card (unique) is a relatively new find, which completed my run.
