MikeI collect original news photos, and wire photos of pre war. Mostly Foxx, gehrig, and Ruth. Huge difference by the way. Although everyone on E bay calls them wire photos. When in actuality, this lumps them all together on e bay, which makes them easier to locate. I have over 70 originals of Foxx, Ruth and gehrig. Some pre war williams, and some early hack Wilson. No reprints here. If and when I can get my scanner up, I will post some. My favorite ones are the players doing non baseball things. Foxx showing his son how to bat, sitting around the Christmas tree, bowling, liftimg weights, hunting with Lefty Grove, etc. etc. I have quite a few from the 34 Japan tour.
