Len, type six bf3s are a problem in the sense that they are impossible to trace and date. I have found at least 3 different companies that have issued generic pennants that we call type sixes. All have different type fonts. So I really can't answer your question which company or which font is the "real" type six. About all I can say is that type sixes are found in several different type styles, all variations of type six. You can try to collect one or all of the variations. I have collected a full set of type sixes but in several type styles. Because of their rarity, collecting all of the styles would be an impossible task.
