The attached link is about the 1917 scandal, and what also is interesting is they mention Detroit pitcher Bill James. The same Bill James that made it on to the 1919 White Sox late in the season and did pitch 4.2 innings in the series giving up 8 hits annd 4 runs. Now maybe he was just washed up, or maybe...just maybe there were more than 8 men out. LOL
