I'm lucky enough to live near a card shop that sells junk wax era boxes at reasonable prices...so I have opened some cheap late 80's/early 90's boxes searching for some of those rare inserts that, due to mass production, have incredibly long odds.

But like I said, I don't really care about owning all those base cards, so often just toss them into the recycle bin after I open them.
