Doc Gessler is in it, and he was obtained in a trade with Brooklyn on April 28th of that season. Orval Overall and Jack Taylor are not in it, and they were obtained in trades on June 2nd and July 1st, respectively (from the Reds and Cardinals). Tom Walsh is also in it, and he only appeared in two games with the Cubs, one in August and one in September, but he was probably with the team for much of the season as an emergency catcher. The Cubs had a long home stand between May 12th and 30th, so that is when I think they posed for this picture.
