Nice to see, I don't recall seeing a Corbett before. A McGovern (yours looks like a blue tint and this one looks black and white) and a Fitzsimmons (yours looks b/w, this one looks blue) were on eBay a few years ago. As I recall, none of us knew what they were. I did not bid and do not own these, just showing them from the archive.

I wasn't clear they were cards, rather than cuts or something, but as you describe them as thicker than strip cards that seems to settle that issue. I have never handled one.

So, I don't know, but there's a little bit of the history at least on whatever these are. I'd love to know more out of curiosity.

EDIT: I would also note that at the time I did not think their style indicated period production to the fighters careers. Found with 1920's strip cards fits a lot better. No solid proof, but these don't look like C. 1900 items to me.
