If you've ever worked in computer software development, as one example, you'd know that the best solutions derive from facts and a logical methodology, where "best idea wins." Feelings and emotions should be set aside.
When discussing the policies that govern a nation, the same should apply, beginning with the adherence and respect for law (the Constitution being the ultimate law in this country.)
Some facts may be denied but that doesn't mean they aren't facts.
