Not so sure it would go for that much either. Usually those kind of prices only start for items that are actually authenticated by a recognized third party. Nothing against Antiques Roadshow (love the show), but have never really seen someone sell something like that based solely on an Antiques Roadshow appraisal. But knowing me, I'm probably wrong. LOL
However, I seem to remember there was a thread on here not too long ago about someone on Ebay selling items similar to what was shown on AR, and I thought the consensus on here was that the item was a fake, or just some fantasy piece. Any possibility this could be the case with this AR item? I'll have to see if I can find the thread.
