I recently watched an old episode of "Sanford and Son" in which Fred told his son that he was named after Lamont Lomax, a pitcher for the Homestead Grays in the 1930's who once pitched three straight shutouts. I'm guessing he is fictional but am wondering if any of you have heard of him and if there are any cards of him.

I know I can look it up on the internet but I thought this might make an amusing post.
