Default Tigers and Cubs team PCs really PC770

How can the Tiger or Cubs team be considered apart of the PC770 series?
After doing limited research it doesn’t make sense. Here is the description from Robert’s Vintageball.com on the Detroit team card.

“Scarce 1907 American League Publishing Co. postcard showcases 19 composite photos of the Detroit Tigers -- including young newcomer, Ty Cobb. Notables include Sam Crawford and Hughie Jennings. This company would issue attractive single player cards in '08.”

The credit line “American League Pub Co.. Cleveland. O.” on the team cards are a little different than the 1908 individual cards where the Co. has only one dot. Plus the credit line is located on the reverse compared to the individual player cards where it is located on the front.

Why would they use a different photographer photos (I believe Carl Horner) for the team issue cards compared to the individual cards.

So is it safe to say that the ACC designation of PC770 is wrong for the team cards? In fact, these team cards were issued in 1907 and then followed up in 1908 with individual cards from the home teams, and then distributed in the Cleveland area.

Going forward the PC770 should be listed as 1907-08 and maybe PC770 and PC770-2
