As a bidder in hundreds of auctions, and now an auctioneer myself, I can safely and accurately say there is absolutely no reason to discuss final prices (being final) until the auction is over and closed. After it is over then you can surmise what you want to but until then it's like arguing with your spouse over something that will never happen
. This goes for all auctions.
