Not a big proponent of the USPS but they generally do a pretty good job with first class mail, so it's odd that they didn't get either of them but also odd that neither's been cashed. Don't know about all the specifics and guess they didn't take Paypal but seems like you're sending money off to a black hole right now. Since they've been nice, and if it's something you really want, you have to try to send another one out. I don't know about the specifics with the postal m.o.
