My prewar part is in the 50-100 range, but my Ripken collection alone is somewhere north of 3,500 cards.
Have about 15 1989 Fleer factory sets so there's about 10,000 right there. ( I got a good deal on them!)
All in I'd have to guess more than 50,000.
Now that I see that in writing, I realize that maybe I should thin the herd a little.
