Default evidence of trimming vs. cut short

Posted By: Bob Marquette

I submitted a gorgeous blue background M116 Bresnahan with clean back to either SGC or GAI, can't remember which now. I thought it had a chance for a NMT grade, it is that nice. Instead it came back "cut from sheet"??? I emailed them and asked them what that meant and they said that although it was a beautiful card it was cut from a sheet. I said "aren't all cards cut from a frigging sheet?" and they said yes but they could tell the difference in a 1910 cut and one cut later.
These guys need to be working for CSI. This presupposed that someone had an original 1910 M116 Sporting Life sheet and cut the cards out exactly to specifications??? Anyone have any clue what a NMT M116 sheet would bring in mastro??? A ton. The whole thing sounded goofy to me...
