Second - I've been meaning to post this the last couple weeks, but never got around to it. I feel every Oriole deserves some time in this great thread.
Former Orioles 1st Base coach John Stearns passed away two weeks ago. Stearns had a nice 10 year playing career, mostly with the Mets, before getting into managing and coaching. Stearns coached 1st base for the Orioles during the 1996 & 1997 playoff seasons under manager Davey Johnson.

Looks like our O's are going to fall a little short this year, but I can't be disappointed. No one saw the Orioles improving as much as they did. Can't wait for spring training.
