I need some help with value. Sellers on eBay are asking anywhere from $500 to $2000 but as they say asking ain't getting. Thanks in advance.
Tom,
The value of the Maris 61st HR ticket would depend on a number of factors:

Overall condition (you stated it was nice, but without seeing a scan...?)
Is it a cardboard ticket or a paper season ticket coupon?
Is it printed or stamped?
Is there writing or stains on the ticket or staple holes that may possibly detract?

If it is a printed date ticket with no obvious flaws the ticket would be a steal at $500 and likely worth $750- $1200, IMHO. I have seen tickets to this game sell for north of $750 for two decades or more.

I hope this helps. Happy New Year!
