Josh K.I am trying to collect one of every major league player in the Hall of Fame. Im trying to keep the pre-war cards in the sgc 40-50 range (psa 3-4), while cards from the 50's - 80's in increasingly better condition (ie 50's no worse than a psa 5-6, 60's no worse than 6 or 7, etc.). Its going to take a while - at least until the budget can satisfy the want list. Ive also had to deviate from my condition range with some of the older superstars - for example, I just bought a honus wagner but in an sgc 30 (psa 2) - when I do this, I try to get cards with little or no creasing if possible.
