Most of us get sheer delight out of digging through long forgotten boxes of cards that are squirreled away somewhere in our homes, with a renewed hope of pulling out something awesome. It's sort of the home version of stopping at a garage sale that has the strong possibility of cardboard being hidden among the tables.
In going through piles of stuff the last couple of days, I stumbled upon a bunch of
O-Pee-Chee Hall of Famers I had completely forgotten about ever having. Although they would never grade out high
(it sucks that my thoughts now immediately turn to grading) due to OPC's quality control department hitting the
Labatts a little too hard, a little too early to have anything come out centered, they're pretty cool cards to have.
So, post something that you happened to have stumbled upon in your own universe. Not necessarily big money treasures, but things you were really happy to have rediscovered, like these 'new'
OPC cards (one Koufax was a recent purchase, so he doesn't count)...
