Two photos of the same U.S. Olympic female track athlete taken inside the stadium at Berlin. She is wearing her opening ceremony parade uniform in the first photo and warm up suit in the second. You can see her participation badge on her lapel in the first photo. Impossible to read, but is says 'Leicht Athletik' on an orange ribbon. I just received them. Though not quite sure, I believe she is Gertrude Wilhelmsen who competed in discus and javelin. In the background of the photo on the right you can see two members of the medical staff carrying a stretcher. The swastika armband is visible on the one just behind the guard.

U.S. Olympic rowers on the ship on the way to Berlin for the 1936 Olympics. All of them competed for one of the rowing clubs in Philadelphia (Undine, Penn AC). The one standing won a bronze medal in single sculls. The others did not medal.
