Default Is the Microsoft Live Rebate skewing realized prices?

Since, they are having a 30% discount on BIN items, and the realized prices do not take into account the discount, will this artificially inflate the "value" of an item? not that all items are purchased BIN, but it may be a fair percentage of overall sales to make a difference.....especially when using VCP....

thoughts?
