Conrado "Connie" Marrero was a Cuban "junkball" pitcher for the 1950-1954 Senators who almost had a career winning record, despite playing on lousy teams. And, he did this between the ages of 39 and 43! Currently 102 years old, only one other MLB player has lived longer. I think folks will enjoy this read from today's Wash. Post newspaper:
