dan mckeeThe beauty of grading. What changed about the card to make it go from a 4 to a 5? Did it improve with age? My entire collection less a few cards, is raw. Unfortunately if I ever sell, a bunch should be graded. I still don't quite get it. Someone paid in excess of $2500 for a 1958 topps card that was worth about $25. But... it had a very pretty 9 on the holder. I am sure the 9 was placed there by an expert though. I guess that is what makes the item.
