Being able to read a random post on different topics and have people with good knowledge and insight provide comments is different than sending an email to someone to get general information about a specific subject. The randomness of the topics and comments made by board members with cool information make this a fun place to read. One less knowledgeable contributor doesn't provide anything positive to this board.
