Ah, the old Stromberg- Carlson console TV that literally anchored my family's living room in the mid-1950's. My face was glued to that screen for hours every weekend, but it wasn't images of Rudy Regalado that fixated me - never even knew what Rudy looked like. Maybe would have found out if he had been on the roster of a team that appeared on the NBC game of the week, but did not even find him in waxpacks that I ripped open at the corner Mom & Pop store that year. Instead, it was Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels duopolizing my Saturday afternoon attention in 1955.
