I continue to hope that the aforementioned whales never develop a taste (or subsequent hunger) for my hobby. At least, not until I have accummulated far more! 
Of course, your point also drives home the fact that if you and Bruce are guppies, well....then I can't be more than a humble single-celled amoeba.
