I knew it would cost a heck of a lot more, but this set is basically a birth year set (born in '71, but didn't want to tackle the black bordered cards because I knew it would cost even more and I'd never finish) and I wanted to spend the time trying to pick out the higher quality ones that would not completely wipe out my finances. I'll try to make it some sort of family heirloom unless I'm wise enough to dump it for potable water and dried rations before the apocalypse happens.

Your photobucket has some exceptionally tough 72's in it as well. Why not grade?
My first ever foray into the graded world was as part of a group submission last fall, and man, that did not work out as expected. Except for a few centered 1972 'In Action' cards (Vida Blue, Bob Barton, Pops) that came back as 8's and a 9 (Tom Seaver), it left me puzzled. So I'm a bit reluctant at the moment to send in anything else.
