I really don't see any correlation between a new stadium and Sammy Sosa and Mark McGwire deciding to cheat and pretending they weren't.

I'm fine with either keeping the cheaters out or letting them in (I would not punish, nor think it reasonable to punish, those who strictly used before it was actually against the rules), but some of the arguments made are just completely nonsensical. When did the Yankees violate the rules on park dimensions? "Thing 1 I do not like" does not equal "Thing 2 I do not like". No argument using this logic ever stands to cursory examination.
