Paul SJason -- I know what you mean, especially with the
players involved. I'm not sure I have a fave combo year
but I think the 64 design lends itself well to combo
cards: sleek, clean, crisp (mostly), and uncluttered.
In 1958 though, Topps just seems to really have gone to town.
