Default 1936 Goudeys....

... two of them, raw, for next to nothing in 1991 (who would bother collecting black and white cards from such a tiny set??)... when I sent them in for grading, and they came back 8s, I thought I could assemble a really nice set of them, relatively cheaply (no major HOFers in the set), which I did.... that very first 36G purchase lead me immediately to other pre-war cards and sets, starting with Sports Kings, and its history from there...
