Roger - as to those auctions, although they are being sold as "1962" Mays records, they are actually 1964. The backs of each record list stats for both the 1962 and 1963 seasons, which couldn't be possible on a 1962 record.

I know very little about the records, but as Steve alluded to above, the 62 issue was a test (I believe), and the true '62 mays record with stats only through 1961 is supposed to be incredibly rare and seldom seen. I have the opportunity to purchase one, but wasn't sure of the current market values.
