About two years ago I bought a small lot from a guy who was renovating his bathroom in Philadelphia. When he was removing the wall, he found a couple of T206s wedged in the cracks. The cards are heavily stained and i presume it to be mold/mildew given they were behind bathroom walls. While the cards are in horrible condition, I thought it was a neat story.
Interesting that the three cards were Old Mill Southern Leaguers (Hickman, Hooker, Paige), yet were behind walls in Philadelphia. Gotta wonder about the story behind that. Another T206 mystery we'll never solve...
