Last week I listed about 60 old letterheads from different companies..about 1/3rd of them sold for the minimum bid ($4.99), but one of them went for $212. The underbidder emailed me and asked if I could tell him who won it..he did not expect it to go for that much and said he put in an insane bid just to guarantee he would win it....I gave him the bidder's ID so he could see there was no funny business on my part...the winner who still had not paid after 5 days contacted me telling me he only wanted to pay $100 for it...I emailed him back and asked him why he bid over $200 if he only wanted to pay $100 for it and he told me that he didn't expect it to go that high. I'm holding him to the $212 he won it for and gave him extra time to pay for it...I'm sure I'll pay for that in my DSR ratings.
