I guess with the high grade the price makes sense, but I still don't feel it was a steal by any means, but I personally hate paying grade premiums.
No doubt, and anybody that has a subscription can pull down 3-4 yrs old pricing on these. I personally think the market has gone up since then. I know what I have been offered for my example, (different HOF'er) and what I believe their current value is based on rarity and demand, but what do I know? I have been known to value something too high before..And like you said, this one was a bit higher grade than most. How many times have we seen a 1-2 grade bump add a ton to value?
