The Eddie Mathews card from the same year is a true high number and a true rookie unlike the double printed 2nd year card of Mantle.
Plus Mathews has very similar career numbers overall
If Mantle played with Pittsburgh, he would be in the same value range as Mathews or Killebrew IMO... but we all know he was in NY and that the 2 most overrated players of all time played with the NY AL team
