Not necessarily in the case of Joe because he was with Toledo all 3 years. However, if a player was only with a team for one year or was reissued with another team later or was first with a team in 1910 or 1911 then you can kinda narrow down when the players card was first made.

One HOF Rookie tidbit though is that the Hooper (Error) with Boston NL was produced FIRST, and they later corrected it to be the Boston AL team. This is evidenced by the AL card being the same image that was carried over to the Red Border and Tin Top set.
