Lots come to mind
I've gotten lots of sweet deals on modern stuff, including from sellers who didn't bother to mention in the listing that the autographed cards they were selling included manufacturer-certified autos of Hall of Famers.
My first ebay purchase ever was a '51 Connie Mack All-Star Mickey Cochrane raw for about $75. It's now in a PSA 5 holder.
I picked up a SCD 9 (red flip) '60 Lake to Lake Schoendienst for $26, and crossed it to a PSA 9.
I got a '59 Topps Dolan Nichols No Traded Line PSA 6 for under $4 - the seller didn't indicate in the auction that it was the tough variation.
I found a poorly listed '72 Candy Lid uncut (square) Gaylord Perry for about $20.
I think I paid about $50 for an uncut sheet of 9 '76 Topps Cloth stickers, which conclusively shows that Apodaca and Dyer were intermingled on the sheets.
After missing out on several from other teams, I was lucky enough to purchase an album page of '64 Topps Venezuelan Senators with 13 of the 18 cards attached for under $35.
I just made a recent purchase off-ebay after an item ended unbid that I don't want to jinx until it arrives, but will be starting a thread on this board about, because it might justify rethinking the dating of a set.
